Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PSO?

The PSO is Invictus’s Parent Service Organization. We are a parent-led organization that works closely with our administration to help serve our school through various committees and fundraising events.

We would be excited to have you join us in serving Great Hearts Invictus! Please review the Team page to see if you’d like to help out our current coordinators and/or leads in a specific area!

All volunteers must complete a background check, fill out a FERPA form and complete a mandatory Volunteer Orientation before getting to volunteer.

How do I get involved?

I work full time, how can I serve if I can’t be on campus for meetings?

Some of our working parents choose to serve during their lunch hour in the copy room or as a lunchroom volunteer. Another area that may be a fit is our events team, as most events occur on the weekend or in the evening.

I have little ones still at home, how can I best serve?

Some of our parents with little ones are able to help with areas like Care & Concern, Communications and Fundraising, as many of these activities can be done from home. Others are able to sneak during lunch and serve as a lunchroom volunteer.
