Father / Daughter Dance
The Great Hearts Invictus PSO presents:
Diamonds & Demin - Daddy-Daughter Dance
February 9th, 2024 in the Invictus Gym from 7PM-8:30PM
Tickets are $5/person
Girls are welcome to invite their dad or a special guest! We will have a DJ, cupcakes, a photo backdrop and more!
Need a little help on the dance floor? We will be hosting a shorty dance lesson before the dance start from 6:30-7PM
Winter Concert, Middle School
7th and 8th Grade (Including 6-8 Orchestra): December 14th, 6:00 pm
7th and 8th Grade: Boys are expected to wear black or dark pants, a white shirt, a black or dark tie, and dress shoes. Girls can wear a black or dark dress or a black or dark skirt with a white shirt and dress shoes.
Chamber Choir & 6th-8th Orchestra: Concert Black (Please see Ms. Perkins or Ms. Slaugh for details)
The concerts will be held in our school gym and free to attend. We look forward to seeing you at the concerts and sharing this special musical experience with our school community.

What are Spirit Nights? Spirit Nights are events hosted by local businesses where a portion of sales are returned to Invictus.

Helotes Winter Parade
Helotes Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 9 in the evening
The Invictus PSO will be hosting a float in the Helotes Winter Parade. We welcome all families, including siblings to participate at the event. If you have any questions, please email Laura Petersen, PSO Events Coordinator.
A few reminders:
All students & their families are invited to participate, including younger siblings.
Participating parents will be asked to assist with keeping kids together along the parade route.
The parade route is roughly 1 mile long and starts and ends at differnt points.
Please wear comfortable shoes & dress for cold weather, with students wearing Candy Land themed Xmas or Invictus gear.
Please arrive by 7:00 pm as the parade begins promptly at 7:30 pm.
Monetary donations for glow items for scholars to wear and candy to toss are welcome but not required, payable via Venmo: @invictuspso or check to GH Invictus PSO.
Parade Float Decorating
If you would like to help decorate the Invictus float for the Helotes Winter Parade, please join us on Friday, December 8 at 2:30 pm in the parking lot.
PSO Community Event
Please join us for a PSO Community Meeting on Tuesday December 5th!
5:30-6:00 - Used Uniform Store will be open before the meeting.
6:00 - 6:30 - We will have a guest speaker and fellow Invictus Mom, Nicole Santiago joining us!
6:30 - 7:00 - A general PSO meeting. This is a great way to learn about our PSO, how to get involved, etc.
This is a parent only event. Please make alternative plans for childcare.
Used Uniform Sale
PSO will be hosting a Used Uniform Sale at 5:30 on December 5 before the PSO Community Event. If you have any questions, please email the Emily Metcalf, PSO Used Uniform Lead.
Snowflake Fundraiser
Snowflake Fund is an annual Great Hearts Tradition.
This is a 100% parent led endeavor. Funds are collected completely seperate from PSO and Community Investment.
100% of the money collected is evenly divided and distributed among teachers, apprentice teachers and general staff (like nurses and front desk).
The Snowflake Fund replaces individual and classroom holiday gifts.
Parents who intend to purchase a teacher gift for the holidays are encouraged to instead give to the Snowflake Fund.34w
Green & Gold Fundraiser, Saturday
Highlander Families:
It’s time for our 2nd annual Green and Gold event. Green and Gold is our largest fundraiser of the fall, so come out and cheer on our volleyball and football team, participate in the 1st annual Chili Cook-Off, and spend time with Invictus Community during the annual picnic.

Pancake Breakfast
Invictus PSO cannot wait to host our 2nd Annual Pancake Breakfast! Pancake Breakfast is a chance for us to gather as a community, let our scholars play, and enjoy some food together!
This is a free event!
Please RSVP here to let us know how many in your family will be attending.

HOW TO DROP OFF YOUR ITEMS FOR PANCAKE BREAKFAST
For non-food items
Thursday or Friday morning during carline, after you drop off your scholar, you may park in the "missed carline spots" and hand off your supploes for food & cold items to a PSO volunteer. (See picture below for “missed carline spots.”)
Thursday between 8-2, you may drop off non-food items. Please give them to the receptionist who will collect the items. We can only collect non-refigerated items during this time frame.
For food/refigerated items (ie eggs, bacon, etc)
